Italy’s Beltrame upgrades equipment at Vicenza plant during shutdown

Italian merchant bar producer Beltrame Group has announced that it has upgraded the equipment at its Vicenza plant during its production shutdown for the summer.

The company installed two new billet loading cranes and new equipment for billet transportation to optimize the unloading phases of semi-finished product production and the loading phase of railway trains destined for customers.

Beltrame has a production capacity of approximately four million mt at its nine plants located in Italy, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland, and Romania.
