OMK’s ATZ issues Q1 production data

The Russian pipe producing company United Metallurgical Company (OMK) has announced the production results for the first quarter of 2010 of its Tatarstan-based subsidiary Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (ATZ).
 
Accordingly, in Q1 2010 ATZ's total pipe production amounted to 38,487 mt - up 44.9 percent year on year, while its shipments amounted to 38,618 mt - showing a 24.4 percent increase compared to the first quarter of the last year.
 
In March 2010, ATZ produced 14,326 mt of pipes - up 28.6 percent, and delivered 14,749 mt - up 28.6 percent, both compared to the same period last year.
