Tata Steel and Wuppermann renew hot rolled strip supply agreement

Tata Steel Nederland, a subsidiary of Indian steelmaker Tata Steel, has announced that it has renewed its hot rolled strip steel supply agreement with galvanized steel producer Wuppermann Staal Nederland. 

Part of the supplied volume of hot rolled strip steel with high surface quality will be Zeremis® Carbon Lite - steel with an allocated carbon reduction of up to 90 percent. 

The companies are committed to providing high-quality galvanized hot rolled strip steel to European customers in a wide range of industries, including automotive and solar energy. 

They are also launching two strategic initiatives focused on data exchange and scrap metal recycling, making their steelmaking process more sustainable and further strengthening their partnership.
