Turkey's CRC imports up 46.9 percent in January

In January this year, Turkey's cold rolled coil (CRC) imports increased by 42.7 percent month on month to 69,203 mt, up 46.9 percent year on year, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). The value of these imports was 51.63 million, increasing by 33 percent compared to December and up 1.6 percent year on year.


In January, South Korea ranked first among Turkey's CRC import sources, supplying 36,592 mt, followed by Russia which exported 21,297 mt of CRC to the country.
