Brazilian HRC export price stable in two weeks

The Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC exports with their South American clients in a reference price of $820/mt, stable from two weeks ago, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades.

In the Brazilian domestic market, HRC of the basic commercial grades is sold by producers, in medium to large volumes, at BRL 5,500/mt ($914/mt), also stable from two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI.

In November, Brazil exported 5,500 mt and imported 69,600 mt of HRC against 6,500 mt and 31,800 mt in October.

All the exports of November were destined to South American countries, shipped by ArcelorMittal (2,900 mt at $587/mt and Usiminas (2,600 mt at $759/mt), both FOB conditions.

The imports were from China (48,700 mt at $567/mt), Egypt (20,400 mt at $610/mt), and South Korea (500 mt at $886/mt, also FOB conditions.
