Alfa Acciai acquires 70 percent of Tecnofil

Italian rebar and wire rod producer Alfa Acciai has acquired 70 percent of Tecnofil, low and medium carbon wire processor located in Gottolengo (Brescia), integrating a producer and a drawing workshop.

Alfa Acciai management will continue to operate Tecnofil with the same work force. Established in 1994, Tecnofil has an annual production capacity of 45,000 mt and over 100 workers. The company’s 2015 revenue was €50 million.

Alfa Acciai Group closed 2015 with a €1.59 billion turnover and produced 500,000 mt of wire rod.
