On December 29, the coke oven equipment upgrading and transformation project of Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Ansteel Group Lingyuan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. underwent a trial run.
After the project is put into operation, it will be able to produce 2.2 million mt of coke annually.
