Ansteel wins tender to supply steel for Maputo-Catembe bridge

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Angang Steel Co. (Ansteel) has announced that it has won a tender to supply steel for the Maputo-Catembe bridge in Mozambique.
 
The Maputo-Catembe bridge has a length of 3,000 meters. According to the tender Ansteel has won, it will supply a total of about 8,000 mt of bridge steel for the box girder section of the main part of the bridge.
