The US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced on Wednesday the initiation of administrative reviews of antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders with an August anniversary month.
The DOC has initiated the following administrative reviews of antidumping orders involving steel products:
(1) Tin mill products from Japan (A-588-854) - JFE Steel Corporation; Kawasaki Steel Corporation; Nippon Steel Corporation; NKK Corporation; and Toyo Kohan Co., Ltd.
(2) Certain steel nails from China (A-570-909) - 200+ companies.
(3) Light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from China (A-570-914) - Sun Group Co., Ltd.
(4) Corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from Korea (A-580-816) - Dongbu Steel Co., Ltd.; Dongkuk Industries Co., Ltd.; Haewon MSC Co., Ltd.; Hyundai HYSCO; LG Hausys, Ltd.; LG Chem, Ltd.; Pohang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. / Pohang Coated Steel Co., Ltd.; and Union Steel manufacturing Co., Ltd.
(5) Light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from Mexico (A-201-836) - Maquilacero S.A. de C.V.; Regiomontana de Perfiles y Tubos S.A. de C.V.; Nacional de Acero S.A. de C.V.; and Productos Laminados de Monterrey S.A. de C.V.
These reviews cover the period from August 1, 2009 through July 31, 2010.
The DOC has also initiated the following administrative reviews of countervailing duty orders involving steel products:
(1) Light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from China (C-570-915) - Sun Group Co., Ltd.
(2) Corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from Korea (C-580-818) - Dongbu Steel Co., Ltd.; Hyundai HYSCO; and Pohang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd.
The period of review covers calendar year 2009.
