On August 10, Henan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Anyang Iron and Steel Group Co. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Department of Transportation of Henan Province, as reported by local Chinese media.
According to the agreement, in the second half of the current year Anyang Steel will supply 500,000 mt of finished steel products for the construction of a high-speed railway project in Henan.
