Spanish steel producer ArcelorMittal Asturias, subsidiary of global steel giant ArcelorMittal, has announced that, with the most recent order having left the port of El Musel in Spain last week, its overall steel plate shipments to France-based cruise ship builder STX France have reached 100,000 mt, since deliveries began in September 2013.

Meanwhile, two ArcelorMittal France sites have also collectively delivered 30,000 mt of steel products to STX France since 2013.

According to ArcelorMittal Asturias, STX France will build four new vessels between now and 2018 using the steel from ArcelorMittal.
