ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih to up finished steel output in July

Ukrainian steelmaker ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, a subsidiary of steel giant ArcelorMittal, plans in July 2009 to produce 430,000 mt of finished steel products for commercial sale.

In addition, deputy trade union chief at ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, Mr. Vladimir Tretyakov, stated, "According to the preliminary data, in August 2009 the plant is to produce 460,000-470,000 mt of finished steel products."

In the pre-crisis period ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih's monthly output of finished steel products amounted to 700,000 mt, decreasing to 260,000 mt in the beginning of 2009.
