ArcelorMittal Temirtau’s crude steel output declines in Q1

In January-March of the current year, ArcelorMittal Temirtau, the largest metallurgical enterprise in Kazakhstan, saw its crude steel production decrease by 15.7 percent year on year to 811,800 mt.

In the given period, ArcelorMittal Temirtau's pig iron production decreased by 12.7 percent to 717,700 mt, its rolled steel production went down by 8.8 percent to 715,600 mt, its production of agglomerate declined by 8.9 percent to 1.350 million mt, while its coal output increased by 11.7 percent to 2.784 million mt - all on year-on-year basis.
