Armenia extends scrap export ban for another six months

The government of Armenia has decided to extend the country’s scrap export ban for another six months until July 31, 2025, according to media reports. The ban had been due to expire on January 30, 2025.

The extension decision is aimed at regulating scrap exports, developing local production, ensuring sufficient raw material access for local companies and stimulating the activities of Armenia’s manufacturing industry.
