Tuesday, 23 February 2016 10:35:42 (GMT+3)   |   Istanbul

Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has decided to impose a preliminary antidumping (AD) duty on certain hollow structural section imports from India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The commission has made a preliminary determination that exports of hollow structural sections from India and the UAE in the investigation period were at dumped prices. The volume and dumping margins of the dumped goods were not negligible. The preliminary antidumping rates range from 4.4 percent to 31.4 percent.

The antidumping duty investigation was launched in December 22, 2015 upon the application lodged by Australia-based Austube Mills Pty. Ltd.

The products subject to preliminary duty currently fall under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7306.30.00, 7306.50.00, 7306.61.00, 7306.69.00 and 7306.90.00.
