Baogang to supply steel rails for Qinghai-Tibet Railway

Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang) has announced that its steel rail plant has been speeding up the production of U71Mn steel rails which are to be delivered to the Qinghai-Tibet Railway for rebuilding the Golmud-Lhasa section of the railway. Accordingly, Baogang will supply 12,000 mt of U71Mn steel rails to Qinghai-Tibet Railway, which can be used to lay a total of 100 kilometers of rails.
