Shanghai-based Chinese steelmaker Baosteel has announced an operating revenue of RMB 77.993 billion ($11.68 billion) for the first half of the current year, down 3.44 percent year on year, with a net profit of RMB 3.468 billion ($0.52 billion), rising by 9.26 percent year on year.
In the given period, Baosteel produced 12.761 million mt of pig iron, 13.270 million mt of crude steel and 11.851 million mt of finished steel.
