Bengang Group inks framework agreement with Chery

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Benxi Iron and Steel (Group) Co. (Bengang Group) has announced that it has inked a strategic framework agreement with Anhui Province-based company Chery Automobile Co., Ltd (Chery). Accordingly, the two sides will deepen their overall cooperation in the field of new technology, new material and steel supply.

Chery, founded in 1997, is a state-owned Chinese automobile manufacturer headquartered in Wuhu, Anhui Province. To date, Chery’s total automobile sales volume has exceeded five million units including automobile exports of over 1.10 million units.
