Borusan Mannesman makes lowest bid for BOTAS tender

Leading Turkish pipemaker Borusan Mannesman has announced that it has made the lowest bid of $4.08 million for a tender held by Turkey's national gas supply company Boru Hatları ile Petrol Tasıma AS (BOTAS) for the supply of high-pressure pipes for the 32,365 km-long section in the Turkish province of Eskisehir of the Trans-Anatolian Pipeline Project (TANAP).

Meanwhile, according to Turkish media sources, Turkish pipe maker Umran Steel Pipe and the consortium of Emek Boru Steel Pipe, NOKSEL and Erciyas Steel Pipe also made bids for the tender. The bid from the consortium of Emek Boru Steel Pipe, NOKSEL and Erciyas Steel Pipe was $4.15 million, while Umran Steel Pipe’s bid was $4.46 million.
