Brazil applies duties for Chinese seamless steel tube exporters

Brazil’s ministry of foreign trade secretariat, MDIC, has applied definite anti-dumping (AD) duties for a period of five years over the Chinese imports of seamless steel tubes.

According to MDIC, Yangzhou Lontrin Steel Tube Co will pay a $1009.29/mt tariff. Hangzhou Zhedong Steel Tube Products Co, Hubei Xinyegang Steel Co and Wuxi Jiangnan High Precision Cold-Drawn Pipe Co will pay a $1356.09/mt levy. All the other Chinese exporters will also pay a $1356.09 duty.

MDIC published its decision at the nation’s official gazette, Diario Oficial da Uniao (DOU), and the products subject to the tariff fall under the following HTS codes: 7304.31.10, 7304.31.90, 7304.39.10, 7304.39.20 and 7304.39.90.
