Brazil becomes China’s second biggest iron ore supplier

In April, Brazil displaced India as the second largest supplier of iron ore to China, while Australia continued to be the largest supplier.

According to the April figures, Brazil sold 12.78 million mt of iron ore to China in April, up 43 percent year on year and up 30 percent month on month; meanwhile, Australia's iron ore sales to China totaled 22.7 million mt, up 57 percent year on year and up 15 percent month on month.
