Brazil’s anti-trust authority, Cade, has approved with no restrictions the acquisition of CGPAR, a civil construction JV, by Brazil steelmaker Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN).

The completion of the deal was published on Tuesday at the nation’s official gazette, Diario Oficial da Uniao (DOU) and gives CSN a controlling stake at the company.

CSN already owned 50 percent of CGPAR, a JV it had with GPA Construcao.
As a result of the deal, CSN is now a 100 percent shareholder at the company. CGPAR provides landscaping, dams and iron ore logistics operations.
