Brazil’s CSN expects to sell German mill this year

Tuesday, 09 April 2019 23:37:00 (GMT+3)   |   Sao Paulo

Brazilian steelmaker Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN) announced that it expects to sell its Stahlwerk Thüringen (SWT) mill in Germany this year, according to media reports. The move is expected to help CSN reduce its debt.

CSN had been looking to disinvest from several assets, including the German mill; the company reportedly discussed selling its German business last year.
