CAAM: China's NEV sales increase by 32 percent in H1

In the January-June period this year, production and sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in China amounted to 4.929 million units and 4.944 million units, up 30.1 percent and 32.0 percent year on year, respectively, with the market share of NEVs reaching 35.2 percent in the given period, increasing further.

In June, production and sales of NEVs totaled 1.003 million units and 1.049 million units, up 28.1 percent and 30.1 percent year on year, respectively, with the market share of NEVs reaching 41.1 percent in the given month.

In June, China exported 86,000 NEVs, down 13.2 percent month on month, while rising by 10.3 percent year on year.

In the January-June period this year, China exported 605,000 NEVs, up 13.2 percent year on year.
