The Canadian International Trade Tribunal today found that the dumping of welded large diameter carbon and alloy steel line pipe, originating in or exported from the China and Japan, and the subsidizing of the above-mentioned goods, originating in or exported from China, have caused injury to the domestic industry.
Anti-dumping and countervailing duties will therefore be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency. The complainants in this case were Evraz Inc., NA Canada, of Regina, Saskatchewan, and Canadian National Steel Corporation, of Camrose, Alberta.
The Tribunal will issue the reasons for its finding on November 4, 2016.
