Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Chengde Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd (Chengde Steel), a subsidiary of Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group Co. (Hebei Steel), has announced that it has won a tender to supply 510L automobile beam steel to Beijing-based company Foton. Accordingly, Chengde Steel will supply 1,680 mt of 510L automobile beam steel to Foton.
In December last year, Chengde Steel had successfully passed a quality certification test held by Foton, which is one of the leading suppliers of commercial vehicles and transport solutions in China.
