China imposes preliminary AD duty on certain stainless imports from EU, Japan, S. Korea, Indonesia

China’s Ministry of Commerce has announced that preliminary results of its antidumping investigation against stainless steel billets and stainless steel hot rolled coil imports from the European Union, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia.

The antidumping duty rates stand at 18.1 percent for Japan’s Nippon Yakin Kogyo Co. Ltd and 29 percent for all other Japanese companies; at 43 percent for the EU; at 23.1 percent for POSCO and 103.1 percent for all other South Korean companies, and at 20.2 percent for Indonesia.

The products subject to the preliminary duty currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 72189100, 72189900, 72191100, 72191200, 72191312, 72191319, 72911322, 72191329, 72191412, 72191419, 72191422, 72191429, 72192100, 72192200, 72192300, 72192410, 72192420, 72192240, 72201100 and 72201200.
