China posts daily crude steel output of 1.655 million mt in mid-Sept

According to the latest figures from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China's average daily output of crude steel in mid-September (September 11-20) totaled 1.655 million mt, a minor slip compared with the early September level of 1.67 million mt.

China's crude steel production in August hit a new monthly high at 52.33 million mt, up 22 percent year on year and up 3.3 percent month on month.
