China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) has announced that it has started a review of the antidumping (AD) duties against imports of certain alloy-steel seamless tubes and pipes for high temperature and pressure applications originating in the United Stated (US) and the European Union (EU). The antidumping duties were originally imposed in May 2014, ranging between 13 percent and 14.1 percent.

The request for review was lodged by Chinese company Inner Mongolia North Heavy Industries Group Corp. Ltd, alleging that the degree of dumping has exceeded the applicable antidumping duties now in effect.

The products subject to antidumping review currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 73045110, 73045190, 73045910 and 73045990.
