China’s coal imports increase by 62.8 percent in January-November

In the January-November period of the current year, China’s coal imports amounted to 427.139 million mt, increasing by 62.8 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on December 7.

In November alone, China’s coal imports totaled 43.506 million mt, up 20.9 percent month on month, while rising by 34.7 percent compared to the same period last year.
