China’s coke output decreases by 0.9 percent in H1

In the January-June period this year, China’s metallurgical coke output amounted to 241.82 million mt, down 0.9 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In the first six months this year, China’s raw coal output amounted to 2.2655 billion mt, decreasing by 1.7 percent year on year.

In June alone, China’s outputs of coke and raw coal totaled 41.64 million mt and 405.38 million mt, increasing by 2.2 percent and 3.6 percent year on year, respectively.
