China’s coking coal exports down 42.86 percent in February

In February this year, China’s exports of lignite and bituminous coal, anthracite coal, and coking coal amounted to 910,000 mt, 130,000 mt, and 80,000 mt, up 111.63 percent, down 35.0 percent and decreasing by 42.86 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities. 

In the January-February period of the current year, China’s exports of lignite and bituminous coal, anthracite coal and coking coal totaled 1.52 million mt, 560,000 mt and 230,000 mt, up 111.6 percent, down 34.8 percent and rising by 41.9 percent year on year, respectively.
