China’s CPI rises by 1.3 percent in August

In August this year, China’s consumer price index (CPI) indicated a year-on-year increase of 1.3 percent, while it was up 0.1 percent month on month, according to data released by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on September 9.
