China’s crude steel output down 5.7 percent in January-February

In the January-February period of the current year, China’s pig iron, crude steel and finished steel outputs amounted to 105.39 million mt, 121.07 million mt and 162.28 million mt, indicating respective year-on-year decreases of 7.0 percent, 5.7 percent and 2.1 percent, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
