China’s FAI in transportation down 4.39 percent in January-October

Total fixed asset investments (FAI) in transportation in China in the January-October period this year amounted to RMB 3.0595 trillion ($0.43 trillion), down 4.39 percent year on year, as announced by China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT).

In particular, the FAI in construction of roads and waterways in China in the given period amounted to RMB 2.137 trillion ($0.3 trillion) and RMB 176.53 billion ($24.6 billion), down 11.2 percent and up 8.2 percent year on year, respectively.
