China's gross domestic product (GDP) indicated a year-on-year increase of 6.7 percent to RMB 34.0637 trillion ($5.10 trillion) in the first half of the current year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
In the first half this year, China’s domestic primary, secondary and tertiary industries contributed RMB 2.2097 trillion ($0.33 trillion), RMB 13.4250 trillion ($2.01 trillion) and RMB 18.4290 trillion ($2.76 trillion) to the country’s GDP, rising by 3.1 percent, 6.1 percent and 7.5 percent respectively on year-on-year basis.
