China's iron ore imports increase by 4.3 percent in January-November

In November this year, China’s iron ore imports amounted to 101.862 million mt, down 1.9 percent month on month and decreasing by 0.85 percent year on year, according to the latest data released by China's General Administration of Customs (GACC).

The downtrend in China’s finished steel prices exerted a negative impact on the demand for iron ore, resulting in the decline in the import volume in November.

In the January-November period this year, China’s iron ore imports reached 1.124236 billion mt, up 4.3 percent year on year.
