Gansu Province-based Chinese steelmaker JISCO has stated that it expects to record a net loss of RMB 972 million for the first half this year, increasing by RMB 577 million compared to the same period last year.

The company stated that slack demand from downstream users and the gap between supply and demand negatively affected its performance in the given period.
