China’s National Silicon Steel Research Center officially established at WISCO

As Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. (WISCO) has reported, China's Ministry of Science and Technology has announced that China's National Silicon Steel Research Center has been officially established at the facilities of WISCO. Developing three standards and approved for 21 patents, the center has been operating on a trial basis for the past three years.

In the last three years, WISCO has produced 1,057,000 mt of grain-oriented silicon steel.
