China’s retail sales of consumer goods up 10.3 percent in Q1

In March this year, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to RMB 2.5114 trillion ($0.39 trillion), up 10.5 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
 
In the first quarter of the current year, China’s total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to RMB 7.8024 trillion ($1.20 trillion), up 10.3 percent year on year. In particular, in the given period total automotive vehicle sales in China amounted to a value of RMB 885.2 billion ($136.60 billion), rising by 7.7 percent year on year.
