China’s scrap imports down 33.3 percent in April

In April this year, China imported 200,000 mt of scrap, down 33.3 percent year on year, according to monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities.

 

In the January-April period of the current year, China imported 640,000 mt of scrap, decreasing by 24.1 percent year on year.
