Chinese mills' common medium plate output up 3.02% in May from April

In May this year, the average aggregate common medium plate and extra-thick steel plate output of large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China-all CISA members amounted to 3.8205 million mt and 465,300 mt, up 3.02 percent and down 1.38 percent month on month, respectively, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).
 
In the given month, CISA member steel enterprises produced 2.0683 million mt of hot rolled strip and 2.8828 million mt of cold rolled strip, up 14.92 percent and rising by 4.23 percent month on month, respectively.
