Chongqing Steel announces further suspension of trading of shares

Chongqing-based Chinese steel producer Chongqing Iron & Steel Co. (Chongqing Steel) has announced that it will continue to suspend trading of its shares as of July 4 for a period not exceeding one month, following the previous suspension of trading of shares which began as of June 2.
 
Chongqing Steel stated that its reorganization plan has not been finalized yet due to the difficulties involved. It has continued suspension of trading of its shares to ensure fairness of information disclosure and avoid abnormal fluctuations in its share price.
