Chongqing Steel receives subsidy from municipal government

Chongqing-based Chinese steel producer Chongqing Iron & Steel Co. (Chongqing Steel) has announced that Chongqing municipal government has granted it a financial subsidy of RMB 59 million ($8.89 million). In particular, the money in question will be invested in the company’s environmental costs.
