CISA: Finished steel inventories in China increase during March

In March this year, overall domestic inventories of the five main finished steel products in China totaled 9.4594 million mt, up 1.0425 million mt or 12.39 percent month on month, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) on March 23.

In particular, in March this year inventories of hot rolled coil (HRC), cold rolled coil (CRC), common medium plate, wire rod and rebar amounted to 1.6174 million mt, 1.4686 million mt, 984,800 mt, 1.1215 million mt and 4.2672 million mt, respectively, up 8.17 percent, declining by 6.05 percent, down 6.52 percent, up 16.58 percent and rising by 27.63 percent month on month, respectively.
