Coal shipments by China’s railways down 13.2 percent in July

China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has announced that in July this year coal shipments by Chinese railways amounted to 140 million mt, down 13.2 percent year on year.

In the January-July period of the current year, coal shipments by Chinese railways totaled 1.05 billion mt, down 11.5 percent year on year.
