Coal shipments by China’s railways down 9.7 percent in March

China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has announced that in March this year coal shipments by Chinese railways amounted to 160 million mt, down 9.7 percent year on year.
 
In the January-March period of the current year, coal shipments by Chinese railways totaled 480 million mt, decreasing by 11.3 percent year on year.
