Conares Metal Supply develops production of 40 mm rebar

UAE-based steel producer Conares Metal Supply announced today, December 5, that it has now enhanced its facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone Area (JAFZA) to manufacture 40 mm rebar, "aiming to meet the growing steel demand in the region and beyond". Conares has an annual rebar production capacity of 500,000 mt at its JAFZA plant.

Commenting on the new modifications, Conares CEO and managing director Bharat Bhatia said, "We are pleased to announce the production of 40 mm rebar at our facility in JAFZA. With the growing demand of steel in the market, we aim to produce and provide the highest quality of steel that would benefit our customers' requirements."
 
Conares also operates a pipe plant with an annual output capacity of 180,000 mt, with a galvanizing line of 36,000 mt in capacity, which currently produces 5,000-6,000 mt of black pipes and 3,000 mt of galvanized pipes per month.
