CPCA: China’s passenger vehicle retail sales down 8% in June

Passenger vehicle retail sales in China are expected to amount to 1.755 million units in June this year, down 8.0 percent year on year, while increasing 2.0 percent month on month, according to the preliminary statistics by China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

In the current year up to June 30, passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 9.828 million units, up 3.0 percent year on year.

In June, new energy passenger vehicle retail sales totaled 864,000 units, up 30.0 percent year on year, while increasing by 6.0 percent month on month.

In the current year up to June 30, new energy passenger vehicle retail sales in China amounted to 4.119 million units, up 33.0 percent year on year.
