CPCA: China’s passenger vehicle retail sales in Apr down 5.3% from Mar

Passenger vehicle retail sales in China in April this year are expected to amount to 1.6 million units, down 1.5 percent year on year, while decreasing by 5.3 percent month on month, according to the estimation of China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

In April, new energy passenger vehicle retail sales are anticipated to total 720,000 units, up 37.1 percent year on year, remaining stable month on month, with an expected market share of 45 percent.
